AI Governance Catalyst Program Flyer - Dr. Chinasa T. Okolo

The AI Governance Catalyst (AIGC) Program, led by Dr. Chinasa T. Okolo through her nonprofit, Technecultura, is a 3-month career and research mentorship fellowship for scholars of Nigerian descent. This time-flexible, high-impact program is designed to empower participants to engage in real-world research, contribute to global discourse, and emerge as leading experts in AI policy and governance.

Program Highlights

Mentorship & Collaboration

Fellows receive direct mentorship from Dr. Okolo, including opportunities for 1:1 professional development sessions and collaboration on research projects.

Skill Building

The curriculum includes a kick-off meeting, targeted readings, policy courses, and structured writing support with weekly progress check-ins.

Tangible Outputs

Over the course of the program, fellows will draft two public-facing policy outputs: an op-ed in a news outlet and a policy brief for Technecultura's Global AI Policy Briefing Series.

The first cohort of 15 fellows launched in July 2026 and is currently in progress. Please stay tuned for updates on future iterations of the program!
